Gabriel Chacon, Vice President of Sales Operations

Gabriel has been around the construction industry since his childhood. He grew up with hands on experience, physically installing various construction material. When he started college at CSU Long Beach, Construction Management was a natural fit because of his love for building. Upon graduation, he worked for a large General Contractor and was able to take his previous knowledge and experience in the field and start applying it to the planning and managing of construction activities. He started working at Tinco Sheet Metal in 2006 and loves overseeing the growth and development of our field craftsman and staff.

What is the most exciting thing about working in this business?

One of the most exciting things about our business is taking a project from a set of drawings and collaborating with architects, general contractors, and craftsman to construct buildings that people will be proud to call home.

What is your personal passion and why?

I love working with all of our employees and teaching and guiding them to become the next generation of builders. I take pride in what I do and want everyone to perform at their best level possible.

What is your greatest Tinco memory?

My greatest Tinco memory is when we were working on the Burton Way Project. The construction schedule was extremely aggressive, and a vendor was no longer able to meet the schedule. This required for Tinco Sheet Metal to fabricate and install a custom radius canopy at the pool area. We collaborated with all entities in our organization to measure, fabricate, and install the canopy in an expedited fashion. We delivered to the client a wonderful quality product faster than any vendor could have.
